5. A fine ranging from VND 400,000 to VND 600,000 shall be imposed on individuals riding motorcycles, mopeds, vehicles similar to motorcycles, and vehicles similar to mopeds for committing any of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ following violations:

a) Clinging to, towing, pushing another vehicle or object, leading animals, carrying bulky items, standing on trực tiếp bóng đá k+ seat, on carrier racks, or sitting on trực tiếp bóng đá k+ handlebars of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ vehicle;

b) Not wearing a "helmet for motorcycle and moped users" or wearing a "helmet for motorcycle and moped users" without fastening trực tiếp bóng đá k+ chin strap correctly while participating in road traffic.

What are types of helmets in Vietnam?

According to Subsection 3.1, Section 3 of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ National StandardTCVN 5756:2017on helmets for motorcycle and moped users:

3. Classification and structure

3.1 Classification

Helmets are classified into 4 types as follows (Figure 1):

- Half-head helmet: a helmet with a structure that protects trực tiếp bóng đá k+ upper part of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ head of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ wearer (Figure 1a).

- Three-quarter head helmet: a helmet with a structure that protects trực tiếp bóng đá k+ upper and part of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ rear head of trực tiếp bóng đá k+ wearer (Figure 1b).

How should a helmet be worn in accordance with trực tiếp bóng đá k+ law in Vietnam?

According to Article 8 ofJoint Circular 06/2013/TTLT-BKHCN-BCT-BCA-BGTVTon trực tiếp bóng đá k+ responsibilities of operators and passengers on motorcycles, mopeds, and motorized bicycles:

Article 8. Responsibilities of operators and passengers on motorcycles, mopeds, motorized bicycles

Operators and passengers on motorcycles, mopeds (including electric bicycles), motorized bicycles when participating in traffic have trực tiếp bóng đá k+ responsibility to:

1. Wear helmets according to trực tiếp bóng đá k+ conformable legal standard.

2. Fasten trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet strap as follows:

a) Pull trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet strap to both sides, wear trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet, and fasten trực tiếp bóng đá k+ buckle. trực tiếp bóng đá k+ strap must not be loose but should fit snugly against trực tiếp bóng đá k+ chin;

b) After wearing trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet, check by pulling trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet from behind to trực tiếp bóng đá k+ front or lifting trực tiếp bóng đá k+ front upper part (or chin part for full-helmet types) upwards and rearwards, ensuring trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet does not come off trực tiếp bóng đá k+ head.

Thus, participants in traffic are responsible for wearing helmets according to legal conformability. Fasten trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet strap as follows:

- Pull trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet strap to both sides, wear trực tiếp bóng đá k+ helmet, and fasten trực tiếp bóng đá k+ buckle. trực tiếp bóng đá k+ strap must not be loose but should fit snugly against trực tiếp bóng đá k+ chin;
