James F. Rotondo III is a theatre artist originally from Rhode Island. He is an MFA Scene Design candidate at Boston University, where he also earned his BFA in Scene Design in 2017. Combining his background in visual arts, experience as a performer onstage, and passion for dynamic performance, James brings a unique approach to storytelling through expressive and bold spaces that support and enhance the story. His designs have been seen across New England and New York at the Glimmerglass Festival, Wheelock Family Theatre, Central Square Theater, and New Repertory Theatre, among others. Upcoming productions include Taking Up Serpents at Chicago Opera Theater which will be Live Streamed and available for digital access February 27-March 5.
